Additional DSPS Services
Academic Assistance Program (AAP)
A drop-in study lab where students can receive assistance in Math and English, learn alternative approaches to studying, and try out learning strategies that focus on one's learning strengths. Days and times are subject to change each semester.
Accessible Computer Laboratories (ACL)
ACL is a DSPS noncredit course that provides needs-based and assistive instruction in adaptive computer software, web-based applications, business software, cognitive retraining, and basic skills. This course is open to all ÃÈ·µ¼º½ students.
Learning Disability Assessment
DSPS assesses for eligibility for services/accommodations if the students have specific learning challenges and there is no other available diagnostic information to use for eligibility for DSPS services. Criteria must be met to be approved for testing.
Strategies Lab
Strategies Lab courses focus on utilizing skills and learning strategies to overcome academic challenges. Students can build on their strengths with these learning strategies to better their success at ÃÈ·µ¼º½.
