VASA/Oceania Student Success Program supports Pacific Island and all �ȷ�� students in pursuit of academic success through comprehensive, culturally specific, multilingual education programs and services that promote successful learning and student achievement in a multicultural environment. The program also offers link courses in English, Math, College Success, and Critical Pacific Island Studies.

Book Loan Program
Book Voucher

VASA provides academic, transfer, career, and personal counseling by appointment or drop-in basis. Counseling topics and services include:

Educational Planning
Support students who are either on academic or progress probation
Academic Renewal
AB 540 & AB 705 Information
Support high school students transitioning into �ȷ��

The VASA Computer/Study Lab is open for drop-in use and includes:

Six laptops for students to use in VASA
A Study Lab area equipped with 2 long tables that seat 12 people which is great for study groups or workshops or even alone time with a book
Outlets you can utilize for charging your electronics
A white board for meetings, studying, and workshops

English tutoring is available for VASA students. 30-minute tutoring sessions are available Monday through Thursday, by appointment.

Borrow Textbooks for Free!

We provide a Book Loan Program that allows students to borrow textbooks for the entire semester, FREE of charge. Students are asked to return the books in good condition by the end of finals week. Books go fast, so utilize this service in the first few weeks of the semester. Also, we invite students to donate unwanted or used books to our inventory so that we can continue this program.

Book Vouchers

In addition to our Book Loan program, we also provide a Book Voucher program that issues vouchers to students to purchase books that we do not have available in our book loan inventory but is necessary for the courses they’re taking. You are asked to return the books in good condition by the end of finals week and the book will be added to our book loan inventory for the future semesters.
