Refund Policies
Refunds are issued in the following circumstances:
A full refund is automatically issued if a workshop is canceled before the first session. If the workshop is canceled after some sessions have commenced, students will be refunded for the remaining workshop sessions.
To receive a refund, an email request to ccsf.extension@ccsf.edu must be received by City Extension 7 days prior to the first workshop meeting. A $10 processing fee per workshop will be deducted.
Enrollment cancellations received after the refund deadline and up to 2 days before the start of the workshop will be issued a Letter of Credit for workshop fees, less a $10 processing charge per workshop.
Less than two days before the workshop start date, no partial refund or letter of credit will be issued for any reason, including illness, travel, or workshops postponed because of circumstances beyond our control.
No phone requests for refunds or letter of credit will be accepted.
City Extension runs on enrollment fees alone and is not tax funded. The decision to run a workshop is based on enrollment numbers.
