This guide will walk you through the steps required to log in and out of CurrIQūnet. It will also provide an overview of the CurrIQūnet interface.

Myȷ Login Portal

You will need your RAM ID and an internet-connected web browser to access CurrIQūnet.

To login, first go to the . CurrIQūnet is also a tile on the general RamID .

Enter your login and password. Be sure to check “I am Staff/Faculty.”

When you first login you will see a list of reports you have filed or drafted. The CurrIQūnet interface is divided into three main areas.

  • Curriculum. This area shows you reports you have filed or drafted. It also allows you to search for reports filed by other faculty. If you have never created a CurrIQūnet report, then “No results” will appear here.
  • Create Proposal. A “proposal” in CurrIQūnet is any assessment report, program review, course outline, program outline, addenda, degree, or certificate. Click here to begin writing a new CRN-Level SLO Assessment, Course SLO Aggregate Assessment report.
  • Approvals. This area allows you to track the in-progress status of a proposal.

If you are on your own computer, you do not need to log off CurrIQūnet. If you’re using a shared computer, you will need to log off to allow other people to log on later.

To Log off, use the drop-down Gear menu in the top right of the screen.

    Choose Log Off. You can now close your browser.

Troubleshooting. This section offers solutions to common problems. If you need help with an issue that is not listed here, reach out to the SLO Coordination team.

No RamID. Go to the  to setup a RAM ID for the first time.

Forgot your Password. Go to the  to reset your RAM ID password. There are other troubleshooting resources at the MYȷ Login Portal.

CRN SLO Assessment. A CRN SLO Assessment report is designed to look at student performance in a course during a single semester.

Course SLO Aggregate Assessment. A Course SLO Aggregate Assessment report is designed to look at student performance in a course over a longer period of time. These reports must accompany official course outline revisions. Looking back at how students in the course achieved SLOs in recent years can help inform modifications to the course moving forward.

Creating a CRN-Level SLO Assessment

This guide will walk you through the steps required to write and submit an outcome assessment for a single section of a course. These reports are due at the end of each semester.

CRN-Level SLO Assessment reports ask you to measure the extent to which each student in your course section has mastered the skills or knowledge expressed in a specific course outcome. You should conduct this assessment before you file the report.

You will need your RAM ID and an internet-connected web browser to access CurrIQūnet.

To login, first go to the . CurrIQūnet is also a tile on the general RamID .

Enter your login and password. Be sure to check “I am Staff/Faculty.”

Create a proposal in CurriQuNet image

To create a new assessment report, you will create a new Proposal, and then define the kind of report you need to submit.

Click Create Proposal. This button is in the upper-right of the main CurrIQūnet screen.

Select Proposal Type.

  •   Scroll down to Assessments in the drop-down menu.
  •   Choose CRN-Level SLO Assessment.
  •   Click Next.

Complete Proposal Requirements

  •   For Subject, choose your department.
  •   For Module Title, enter the course number and semester in which you are reporting [Econ10_F20].
  •   Click Next.

Review and submit. The Proposal Summary lets you confirm that you selected the right type of report. If everything looks good, click Create Proposal.

The remainder of the report will ask you to supply information about the class and about your students in 3 different screens. Use the left sidebar to navigate through these areas, and to view your progress on the report.

The Main section of the report gives you options to specify the course and the outcome you’re reporting on.

  • Course. Choose your course from the drop-down menu. Type the course number to auto-fill the field.
  • Version. Choose the version of your course that is marked as being Current. (Exception: the date preceding the word Current falls in the current semester)
  • Outcome. Choose the course outcome that you will report on from the drop-down menu.
  • Save. After all the fields are complete, click Save.

Use the left sidebar to navigate to the CRN Information section.

  •   CRN. Enter the CRN number and semester for the course you’re reporting on.
  •   Year. Enter the year that you taught the course.
  •   Save. After all the fields are complete, click Save.

Use the left sidebar to navigate to the Student Data Assessment & Analysis section.

Assessment Methods. SLOs are typically assessed through a student test, lab, performance or project. Describe the method you used to measure student performance.

Assessment Criteria. SLO mastery is broken down into 3 levels as: Meets, Developing and No Evidence. Describe the process or standard you used to attach a mastery level to each of your students.

Student Data. For each student choose the correct assessment level.

  • If a student completed the test, lab, performance or project you used to assess the outcome, rank their performance as “Meets”, “Developing”, or “No Evidence.”
  • If a student did not complete the work you used to access the outcome, choose “Enrolled, but not assessed.”
  • If a student dropped your class before the end of the semester, choose “No longer enrolled.”
  • Save the Assessment after entering Student Data. CurrIQūnet will then tally the results, making it easier to summarize and reflect on the findings. If you have a long list of students, save often to guard against mishaps.

Improvements. List the improvements or changes you’ve implemented in this course since the last assessment.

Summarize. Summarize the findings of this assessment.

Next Steps. Outline your vision for future changes in teaching methods or emphasis.

Save. After all the fields are complete, click Save.

Note: If your plan for course improvements will require ȷ resources, be sure to check the Future Improvements checkbox and supply details in the text field.

In CurrIQūnet, a report must be launched to complete the reporting process.

Review the Draft. We recommend that you review a draft of your report before submitting it.

  • Click on the document icon in the upper-left of the screen to open the draft report in a new tab in your browser.
  • To edit the draft report, return to CurrIQūnet and navigate to the section where you want to make changes. Edit and save the report.

Launch the Report. When your report is complete, click Launch in the upper-right of the screen. Your report will be visible as an active, public report within 24 hours.

This section offers solutions to common problems. If you need help with an issue that is not listed here, reach out to the SLO Coordination team through .

The drop-down menus are finicky. They are! Just use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move up and down.

Your course subject doesn’t appear in the Main section. This means you need “origination rights” for this subject. Submit a help request to the SLO Coordination team through.

Your CRN or year does not appear in the CRN Information section. Check to confirm that you have not already created a draft or submitted a report for that CRN, Year, and SLO combination. This error can also occur in courses that have multiple instructors. If you need a change to the instructor of record, submit a help request to the SLO Coordination team through this form.

Your student names do not appear in the Student Data section. Check to confirm that you have not already created a draft or submitted a report for that CRN, Year, and SLO combination. This error can also occur in courses that have multiple instructors. If you need a change to the instructor of record, submit a help request to the SLO Coordination team through .

The SAVE button isn’t visible. This usually means you have no unsaved edits. You may need to click on the dark gray border to reveal the Save button.

The Launch button is greyed out. This means you’re missing data in required fields. Look at the badges that appear in the left sidebar: if one of those is still orange, return there to complete the required fields.

You want to complete a report you previously saved as a “draft.” Use the Search feature in CurrIQūnet to locate your draft.

With the exception of individual student data, all the information entered into these reports will be publicly available. Also, the data you enter into this report will be part of larger Course Aggregate, Program, GELO, and ILO deep-read assessments. Please enter data in a way that will be understandable by anyone who reads it.

Creating SLO Aggregate Assessments

This guide will walk you through the steps required to submit a Course SLO Aggregate Assessment report. SLO Aggregate Assessments reports allow you to look back at how a course or program has been meeting its goals in recent semesters to inform the revision process. Aggregate assessments are due 18 months prior to an official course or program outline revision.

Course (SLO Aggregate) Assessment

You will need your RAM ID and an internet-connected web browser to access CurrIQūnet.

To login, first go to the . CurrIQūnet is also a tile on the general RamID .

Enter your login and password. Be sure to check “I am Staff/Faculty.”

To create a new assessment report, you will create a new Proposal, and then define the kind of report you need to submit.

Click Create Proposal. This button is in the upper-right of the main CurrIQūnet screen.

Select Proposal Type.

  • Scroll down to Assessments in the drop-down menu.
  • Choose Course (SLO Aggregate) Assessment.
  • Click Next.

Complete Proposal Requirements

  • For Subject, choose the prefix of the course.
  • For Module Title, enter the course number and semester in which you are reporting [Econ10_F20_Aggregate].
  • Click Next

Review and submit. The Proposal Summary gives you an overview of your report. If everything looks good, click the blue Create Proposal button in the lower right.

The remainder of the report will ask you to supply information about the class and about previous CRN assessments in 4 different screens. Use the left sidebar to navigate through these areas, and to view your progress on the report.

  • Course. Choose your course from the drop-down menu.
  • Save. After both fields are complete, click Save.

The “Outcome Term” defines the date range for the aggregate report. You should specify every semester that the course was taught since the last official course outline update. This will provide data for your aggregate report.

  • Click Add Item. This will open new fields which allow you to specify a specific semester to include for the aggregate report.
  • Click Save. You should now see that semester and year listed in outcome terms.
  • Repeat. Repeat this process until every semester since the last update is reflected in the list. Save after each new entry.

CurrIQūnet builds a summary of data from the outcome terms you specified. You should view and reflect on this data before you proceed with the aggregate report.

  • Click on the document icon in the upper-left of the screen. Choose Assessment Aggregate Report.
  • This will open a data summary in a separate tab in your browser.
  • Read through this summary. Leave it open while you complete your report.

This section gives you an opportunity to analyze the data in the summary you generated in the previous step.

Comment on trends or insights you see in the data.

This is also an opportunity to review prior CRN-level reports to develop a narrative about your course. Use the Search function in CurrIQūnet to retrieve these reports. Review at least 3 CRN-level reports to help you interpret the aggregate data. If there is a prior Aggregate Report for this course, please review to compare results and comment on how recommendations in that prior report were implemented. You may also include information from other sources, such as student feedback, faculty discussions, or advisory boards.

The Analysis Section includes an optional question to comment on ARGOS data on student completions, which can be sorted by gender, race/ethnicity and other variables to help identify equity gaps. If you have this data, comment on it here.

Click Save before you move on.

This aggregate report is designed to help you make meaningful changes to your official Course Outline of Record. Use this section to discuss course improvements inspired by the aggregate outcome assessment data and/or other information about how the course is meeting its goals.

If you check the checkbox indicating that future improvements require resources, an additional box opens for detail on those resources. This request will be available for the department chair to review when preparing Program Review.

Click Save before you move on.

In CurrIQūnet, a report must be launched to complete the reporting process.

Review the Draft. We recommend that you review a draft of your report before submitting it.

  • Click on the document icon in the upper-left of the screen and choose “All Fields” to open the draft report in a new tab in your browser.
  • To edit the draft report, return to CurrIQūnet and navigate to the section where you want to make changes. Edit and save the report.

Launch the Report. When your report is complete, click Launch in the upper-right of the screen. Your report will go to your department chair for approval before becoming active.

Certificate or Major PSLO Assessment Report

  • Scroll down to Assessments in the drop-down menu.
  • Choose Certificate or Major PSLO Aggregate Assessment.
  • Click Next.

  • For School-Division, choose the School your department belongs to.
  • For Department, choose your department.
  • For Module Title, enter the name of the Certificate or Major. You can enter a shortened version of the name.
  • Click Next.

Review and submit. The Proposal Summary gives you an overview of your report. If everything looks good, click the blue Create Proposal button in the lower right.

Using CurrIQūnet Search

The Search feature in CurrIQūnet allows you to search for any approved proposal in the system, in addition to drafts that you have saved. Common search requests might include:

  • A search for a draft proposal that you want to complete
  • A search for a proposal you have previously launched
  • A search for a proposal launched by another faculty or staff member

This guide takes you on a tour of these search scenarios.

Using Search

The first screen you see in CurrIQūnet is the search. The default view will list proposals you have launched, or in-progress drafts that you saved.

Using Search in CurriQuNet Image

The search interface has a number of useful options to help you refine your search.

The Curriculum drop-down menu. This allows you to view and search for different types of proposals.

  • A Course is a course outline or addendum
  • A Program is a program (degree or certificate) outline or addendum
  • A Program Review is a departmental Program Review / Annual Plan
  • An Assessment is any type of outcome assessment report, including a CRN-Level SLO Assessment,Course SLO Aggregate Assessment, or SSO Assessment..

The My Proposals Checkbox. This automatically filters your view to include or exclude proposals launched by other faculty or staff.

Additional search filters. Drop-down menus in the upper-right and left corners of the screen allow you to filter your searches in many useful ways. You can also search for specific keywords using the freeform search field.

To locate a draft proposal that you started previously and now want to complete, follow these steps:

  • Verify that My Proposals is checked.
  • Click the Curriculum button and choose the type of proposal you’re looking for from the drop-down menu (Course, Program or Assessment).
  • The list will populate with your proposals in the category you selected. Use the filters in the upper-left and right to narrow the search, if necessary.
  • Click on the proposal name to edit and complete it.

To locate a proposal that was previously launched, follow these steps:

  • Verify that My Proposals is checked.
  • Click the Curriculum button and choose the type of proposal you’re looking for from the drop-down menu (Course, Program or Assessment).
  • The list will populate with your proposals in the category you selected. Use the filters in the upper-left and right to narrow the search, if necessary.
  • Click on the document icon in the Reports column to view the proposal.

To locate a proposal previously launched by another faculty or staff member, follow these steps:

  • Verify that My Proposals is unchecked.
  • Click the Curriculum button and choose the type of proposal you’re looking for from the drop-down menu (Course, Program or Assessment).
  • Use the keyword search and filters to narrow your search.
  • Click on the document icon in the Reports column to view the proposal.

CurrIQūnet offers a number of different ways to filter search results.

  • Use the Curriculum drop-down menu to filter broadly for course, program, program review or assessment.
  • Use the drop-down menu in the upper left to filter for proposal type.
  • Use the Sort Option to Order the reports from the Created on Date - Descending to see the most recent reports at the top of the list.
  • Use the drop-down menus and fields in the upper right to filter for subject, status, and keyword. There are additional options here for sorting and exporting search results.
