Instructor Bio

Amy’s research, teaching and community work focuses heavily on the idea of academic belonging.   In June 2021, she earned her Educational Therapy Certificate from UC Riverside Extension, which provides her with additional tools and strategies to support neurodiverse students.  In 2023, Amy also began leading professional development workshops focused on neurodiversity and belonging in the community college classroom.  

Amy has been teaching at ÃÈ·­µ¼º½ since 2003.
