About Construction Management
Construction Managers are the professionals responsible for the overall planning and control of construction projects.
Construction Managers work closely with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Governmental Agencies and others. They are involved with all phases of construction projects, from inception to move-in and occupancy, making sure that the project gets done on safely, on time and within budget. The Construction Management profession is a dynamic and exciting field that requires a unique combination of technical, analytical, creative and communication skills.
The Construction Management program at City College is comprehensive and provides students with the practical knowledge and skills required to be effective in the professional environment. A variety of certificate and degree programs are available at ÃÈ·µ¼º½. Students can also continue their education attaining a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management at Colleges and Universities throughout the State, including the California State Universities at Hayward, Sacramento, Fresno and Chico.
