Celebrating the Cultures and Creativity of Our City

Concert and Lecture Series events celebrate the many cultures and superlative creativity found in the San Francisco Bay Area. Its aim is to support the curriculum and student success by bringing masters of their craft to the college, address current issues and events in the world, offering a forum for the many diverse points of view found in our community.

The Concert and Lecture Series aims to engage with the community at large through public relations outreach by inviting schools, city and county departments, public libraries and other organizations to participate in more than sixty events held annually in more than half the college’s campuses.

Background

The Concert and Lecture Series started with the objective to bring high-quality programs and speakers to various venues across ÃÈ·µ¼º½'s campuses for the benefit of students, faculty, staff and the general public. Because the budget for honoraria comes from student fees, all C/LS events must be presented FREE and must be open to the public.
