The mission of the Office of Matriculation and Assessment is to provide to the College the direction, coordination and implementation of the State mandated matriculation functions, student placement assessment and the GED Testing Center, as well as other related student development activities that assist students in attaining their educational goals. It is responsible for the administration of programs and services in four areas at City College of San Francisco--Credit Matriculation, Non-credit Matriculation, Testing and Assessment, and GED Testing.
The Office of Matriculation and Assessment supervises the functions of the Testing Office and the GED Center, and coordinates and collaborates on the other matriculation functions with many departments and operational units at this College.
