2020 Heather Van Sickle Entrepreneurial College Award
NACCE’s 2021 Entrepreneurial College of the Year, City College of San Francisco (ȷ), places entrepreneurship at the heart of the work that they do. The EFS Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation is at the front and center of the college’s major initiatives, and is a key driver in delivering accessible and inclusive education to non-traditional students, building an entrepreneurship curriculum that is inclusive and transformative. ȷ has six certificates housed in the various centers of the college – with two more on the way in 2022 – as well as a dedicated portal to provide a platform for students to have access to a thriving ecosystem that supports their needs, and to network and collaborate within an entrepreneurship community outside of ȷ. Recently featured as a college by PBS in the “Inside California Education” series, entrepreneurship at ȷ has also been recognized by the Philip E. & Carole R. Ratcliffe Foundation in NACCE’s 2020 Pitch for the Trades and by HP Life in 2019.
