Dear College Community,
It was a beautiful Mother’s Day weekend here in San Francisco. Hope many of you were able to celebrate your mothers and thank them for their work, which is never done. While in the United States we celebrate Mother’s Day on the second Sunday of May, throughout México, Guatemala and El Salvador, Mother’s Day is always celebrated on May 10. ¡Feliz DÃa de Las Madres!

After months of discussions and a couple of weeks of long hours of negotiations, late last Friday we reached a tentative agreement with AFT 2121 to rescind all full-time faculty lay-off notices. We’re forging ahead with our second virtual production, FashionSphere 2021, celebrating our 20th anniversary fashion showcase and competition. . The ÃÈ·µ¼º½ Library has a long tradition of supporting programs and providing resources in support of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month (May) and other celebrations throughout the year which heightened cultural diversity. This year, ÃÈ·µ¼º½ Library is curating a collection of resources that are available on the related subject guide. .
