M.S. Early Childhood Education, University of Oregon

Lisa has taught part time at ÃÈ·µ¼º½ since 1996.  She has worked as a teacher, director for private non-profit and public child development programs.  Lisa has also worked as an instructional coach for First 5 San Francisco coaching teachers on environments, adult child interactions and CLASS, ECERS assessment tools.

My goals for students are to gain theoretical and practical knowledge and skills about child development and best practices for working with children and families. I want students to be able to apply what they learn in classes whether its administration or curriculum to their work in early childhood programs. It's important to keep current with changes in the field affecting our work with children and families. I consider myself a lifelong learner and hope to instill that in students as well.
