Instructor Bio

I have taught History at ÃÈ·µ¼º½ since 2015.  I have taught U.S. history, women's history, the history of the cold war, U.S. diplomatic history, and international history courses in Washington D.C., eastern Tennessee, and California. I received my BA in History and Rhetoric from University of California, Berkeley, and my PhD from George Washington University, with an emphasis on U.S. history and Cold War history. For more information on my ÃÈ·µ¼º½ courses, please see .

I am a self-acknowledged history nerd! Even outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading about history, traveling and exploring local history around the world, and talking about history. I also enjoy reading fiction, cooking, knitting, and exploring the history and culture of San Francisco!
