Catalog Description

A hands-on, how-to course in managing available light and light on location. Emphasis is on outdoor and ambient light, location light; designed to relate lighting to photo-aesthetics and visual communication.

Section Notes

This is a Hybrid 16 week late start class that will meet in person on Fridays in VART 165 as well as on-site in various photography field trip locations tba. The other part of the class will be delivered Online. Some DSLR cameras, lenses, and computer lab access with software are available for student use. Students may use the iMac computer lab in the page. This course is a pre-requisite for some PHOT certificates and the AS Degree.
